"To the finals!" (View SSX 2005 Finalists)

Us, along with, Frosty's Frozen Treats, Love Bar and Warrior Wear from Loyola, Aloha Smoothies, Fortune Sushi Co-op, Half-Baked Brownies and HoneyK's Cookies N' Cream from Bialik, Pimp My Crepe, Shaken Not Stirred and Steam Wear from Herzliah, as well as Cloud Candy from Weston have all made it to the "Student Stock Exchange 2005" finals to be held at Loyola. There is a wide variety of products being offered among the different teams and it should be interesting. We are very excited to be able to participate in the finals and surely the rest of the teams are as well. Congratulations to all of the teams that made it and good luck!

Thursday May 12 - 11:30am - 12:30pm
"Open for business - Day 3"

Today was great. We lowered the prices even more to one for $1.25 and two for $2.00. As much as we did not want to, we wanted to set a even better price so that our customers would be happy. Our customers are important to us and we wanted them to be completely satisfied. We even set up an all you can eat in a minute and a half for $5.00. It was a great success! Customers were excited, our group was excited. We attracted much more customers than the previous days and it had to have been one of our better days of business. Overall we feel that our team has worked hard during the competition, and we will continue to work hard.

Wednesday May 11 - 11:30am - 12:30pm
"Open for business - Day 2"

With our new better price and better deal of one cannoli for $1.75 and two cannolis for $3.00 we were able to attract much more customers because of our lower price, although many still wanted the prices to go even lower, because of our competitors prices. In order for us to keep our customers satisfied, as well as our shareholders, we cannot bring the price any lower. We are serving only the best. Want to hear the radio ad you heard on the bulletin today? Visit our multimedia section, it also includes our other radio ad.

Tuesday May 10 - 11:30am - 12:30pm
"Open for business - Day 1"

Our team was excited as the time came for us to sell our cannolis. Freshly filled with Ricotta and with a nice sugar coating, it was a definitely mouth watering sight. Many people who had never tried one were willing to try and enjoyed it. Some people may have been intimidated by the $2.00 price per cannoli, which is why we have decided to cut a better deal to better serve our customers. Our new pricing is as follows: One for $1.75 and two for $3.00. We hope to see there you tomorrow! Don't forget your money and most importantly don't forget your appetite! Visit our multimedia section for more pictures.

"Recent Ad Controversy"

As many of you have seen this ad in the cafetorium, you may have liked the cleverness as well as the design. However It did not come to our attention that our ad was sacrilegious and  we unknowingly put an ad up which turned out to be offensive. It was not our intention to offend anyone, and our apologies go out to Deacon Stimpson, as well as the other priests and faculty members who may have been displeased by the advertisement. Most importantly sorry to our fellow students who were offended by this ad .

Thursday May 5 - 7:00pm

"Thanks to our sponsor Delizia!"

Recently our team members Jason Parravano and Marco Panarello visited with our sponsor Delizia for some tips and tricks to making the perfect cannolis. They have been a great help to us and it has been greatly appreciated by our team. To contact Delizia call for Anna or Gaetano Bruno at (514) 387-8254. Delizia is located on 2410 Fleury E. in Montreal. Check our multimedia section for pictures from the visit to Delizia.

"Featured Company of the Week"

We are the featured company of week on the Student Stock Exchange website. We are glad to be the first company to be featured on the SSX website and it is an honor to hold that space. Hopefully this helps us reach out to the other schools and those in our school. Everything is running smoothly and as planned within our company affairs. We are working hard to ensure the continued success of our company. Please do not forget that if you ever have any questions or comments, do not hesitate to e-mail us at holycannoli@gmail.com.

Thursday, April 21 - 12 noon
"Official opening of the SSX "

The crowds gathered, teachers and students, in the atrium. What a sight! Shouting and screaming. Fighting for the shares. Kyle wearing his priest costume and Lawrence wearing the little angel wings surely attracted the crowds. Selling out second, many were in demand of our stock. Sorry to those who wished to purchase stocks from us but came too late. To those of you who were lucky enough to purchase stocks from us be sure to stay tuned for updates. A video will soon be available for downloading.

Thursday, April 7 - 1:30 to 3 p.m.
"Pep Rally"

The Pep Rally took place at Loyola High School Cafetorium where all of the other schools participating in the SSX competition came to join us in cheering on all of the teams as their PowerPoint presentations appeared. Following the Pep Rally thirty minutes of commercials from the 2004 Cleo Awards were viewed. When the presentation ended, we all met up in the cafetorium so that we could network with the other schools. The Pep Rally was a successful event and definitely a great beginning to the competition.
